Planting design

Sometimes an existing garden just needs new planting to give it new life, often where planting has been put in many years previously and is now overgrown. Where the hard landscaping doesn't need to change but the planting does, we offer a planting design service for homeowners and also commercial developments.

 

The key to any good planting design is a strong structure that will look good 365 days of the year. We bring expert plant knowledge, and understand which plant to put where. We look to layer planting, using a range of heights or storeys, to create beautiful views. Form, colour, texture and scent are also considered to create planting plans that really sing. Crucially, plants are considered for their long term viability and whether they will be able to survive our increasingly extreme climate.  

 

We love to plant with wildlife in mind, both in terms of food and habitats, and are experts in ways to increase biodiversity in a planted space.
